Helping to make a world of difference

Antonio

On the 4th June an organisation that works with Social Welfare brought Antonio to the Babyhouse asking for help as his family lived in conditions too poor to be able to take proper care of him. His mother has Aids and they could not afford formula milk so they fed him with rice water instead, meaning he was malnourished on arrival at the house. His ongoing health difficulties and malnourishment made his body weak; at seven months he could still not sit alone and found it very hard to hold his little head up. He also struggles with asthma.

However, Antonio is growing into a chubby toddler and is doing well with his health. He is now living back with his family, who receive regular food and medication parcels from All Nations, to help them raise Antonio.
