Helping to make a world of difference

Aidinha lived with her family and was in her first week at school when she got lost walking home one day. The police found her and she was brought to All Nations by Social Welfare. Pieter and Rika have driven around the area where Aidinha was found but she has not been able to recognise anywhere, so they have not been able to find her family. So far, her family do not appear to have been in contact with the police or Social Welfare to try and find her.

Aidinha was very quiet and withdrawn when she arrived at the babyhouse, but after three months she started to settle in well, and now refers to the children and adults who care for her as her friends and family.
